I understand because...
This Was Me.
I lived most of my life feeling like I was at the mercy of what was happening around me, feeling like life was happening “to” me, and I had no control over my own happiness.
I suffered with a lot of depression, and made myself and those around me pretty miserable in the process. My mind was acutely aware of the negative, and spent a lot of time discouraged and complaining. I lived my life trying to prove my worth to myself and others through “doing,” and taking care of everyone but myself.

My own happiness seemed irrelevant, something I didn’t deserve, like it didn’t matter because everything else was more important. Eventually, I drove myself to adrenal fatigue, and was forced to stop DOING and just rest, for a very long time. But as it turned out, this trial became a great gift to me.
I learned to slow down and lighten up...
And That My Joy Matters!

It took coming to a place of stillness, self-care and self-compassion for me to truly begin to find myself. As my health returned, I began attending trainings and courses and getting coaching on mindfulness and mindset. As I worked to apply what I was learning, my whole outlook began to change. I began to see myself and the world around me in a whole new way.
Now I'm here to share with you what I've learned,
And Guide You on the Same Amazing Journey
In finding healing and perspective on this path, I am now on a mission to teach other women what I have learned. Dragonfly Laughter is all about transformation, light and joy. I’m here to help you find a better way of seeing yourself and your life.
I’m here to remind you how to see your own light. To help bring the healing energy of JOY back into your life! I want to help you discover your intrinsic value, learn the importance of loving and taking care of yourself, and find peace and healing through self-compassion and choosing joy in your daily life!
When you learn to love, honor and care for YOURSELF in the same way that you love, honor and care for others…when you put on your own oxygen mask first…when you plug the holes in your bucket and fill it to overflowing…THEN you can give to others of the abundance and overflow, from a place of confidence, peace and joyfulness, instead of becoming depleted. By lighting your own candle first, you can light up the world for others.
